Overview

symfony/security-http is a provides an infrastructure for sophisticated authorization systems, which makes it possible to easily separate the actual authorization logic from so called user providers that hold the users credentials.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. The ability to enumerate users is possible without relevant permissions due to different exception messages, depending on whether the user exists or not. It is also possible to enumerate users by using a timing attack, by comparing time elapsed when authenticating an existing user and authenticating a non-existing user.
