How to fix?

Upgrade symfony/security-http to version 7.4.12, 8.0.12 or higher.

Overview

symfony/security-http is a provides an infrastructure for sophisticated authorization systems, which makes it possible to easily separate the actual authorization logic from so called user providers that hold the users credentials.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to User Impersonation via Cas2Handler service parameter generation using Request::getSchemeAndHttpHost(). An attacker can authenticate as another user by supplying a spoofed HTTP Host header, as the generated CAS service parameter reflects attacker-controlled host values when framework.trusted_hosts is not configured, allowing replay of valid CAS tickets across applications registered with the same CAS server.
