Overview

thorsten/phpmyfaq is a FAQ system for PHP and MySQL, PostgreSQL and other databases

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control via the 'sharing FAQ' functionality. An attacker can misuse the application to send arbitrary emails, potentially for phishing purposes, by bypassing CAPTCHA controls and exploiting the lack of backend limitations on the number of emails sent per request.
