Test your applicationsUpgrade typo3/cms-install to version 13.4.34, 14.3.6 or higher.
typo3/cms-install is a TYPO3 extension install. The Install Tool is used for installation, upgrade, system administration and setup tasks.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Origin Validation Error via referrer enforcement in the ReferrerEnforcer code used by the backend and Install Tool. An attacker can invoke protected backend or Install Tool endpoints with an authenticated victim’s session by sending Fetch/XHR requests from JavaScript running on one of the instance’s own domains, such as a frontend page. Because same-origin detection treated same-host referrers as backend/Install Tool requests when those applications were served from the site root, the victim’s browser accepted the forged requests and exposed backend actions and Install Tool operations to cross-site scripting abuse.
