CWE-204  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 26.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure via the encryptPass.json.php process. An attacker can obtain hashed equivalents of arbitrary passwords by submitting them to the exposed endpoint, enabling offline password cracking against leaked database hashes. This also reveals sensitive cryptographic configuration details, such as whether salt is enabled and the exact hashing implementation.
