CWE-89  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to SQL Injection in the getAllCategories function via the doNotShowCats parameter due to insufficient sanitization, where only single quotes are stripped but backslashes are not. An attacker can execute arbitrary SQL commands, extract sensitive data, modify or delete database contents, and potentially achieve remote code execution by crafting specially constructed requests that exploit SQL string boundary manipulation.
