CWE-78  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the sanitizeFFmpegCommand function. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the standalone encoder server by injecting shell command substitution syntax into the ffmpeg command, which is not properly sanitized and is executed within a shell context.

Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker is able to obtain or guess the encryption key used for the payload, such as through a leaked configuration, a weak legacy salt, or another vulnerability.
