CWE-862  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization through the get_api_video_file and get_api_video API endpoints in plugin/API/API.php. An attacker can retrieve direct playback URLs for password-protected videos by calling the API without supplying the video password. The API path bypasses the standard web-playback password check, allowing unauthenticated users to enumerate protected videos and download their MP4/HLS sources directly.
