CWE-352  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the pluginSwitch.json.php process. An attacker can disable critical security plugins by tricking an authenticated administrator into visiting a malicious web page, which sends crafted requests to change plugin statuses without proper verification. This can result in the loss of two-factor authentication, unrestricted access to premium content, or exposure of restricted videos.
