Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the EPG link processing, which fails to properly validate URLs using the intended isSSRFSafeURL function. An attacker can cause the server to make arbitrary HTTP requests to internal or external addresses by submitting specially crafted URLs. This can lead to exposure of sensitive internal resources, such as cloud metadata services or internal network services, and can be triggered repeatedly on every page visit due to the persistent storage of the malicious URL. This is only exploitable if the attacker has authenticated access with upload permissions.
