CWE-918  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the downloadURL parameter processing in objects/aVideoEncoder.json.php. An attacker can access internal resources and exfiltrate their responses by supplying a crafted URL with an allowlisted media or archive extension, which bypasses SSRF validation and causes the server to fetch and store the internal content as media.
