Overview
wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Verification of Source of a Communication Channel in the sendEmail.json.php process. An attacker can send emails appearing to originate from the site's legitimate sender address by submitting crafted requests to the public endpoint, leveraging the site's SMTP infrastructure to deliver attacker-controlled content to arbitrary recipients. This allows for convincing phishing and brand impersonation attacks, as the emails pass SPF/DKIM/DMARC checks and are indistinguishable from genuine site communications. This is only exploitable if SMTP is configured and the attacker can solve a captcha.
