CVE-2026-33692  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-552  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade wwbn/avideo to version 29.0 or higher.

Overview

wwbn/avideo is an Audio and Video Platform or simply "A Video Platform".

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Files or Directories Accessible to External Parties via the official Docker Compose configuration, which mounts the project root directory as the Apache document root, exposing the .env file containing sensitive credentials. An attacker can obtain confidential information such as database credentials, admin passwords, and internal network details by sending unauthenticated HTTP requests to access the .env file. This is only exploitable if the application is deployed using the default Docker Compose setup without modifications to restrict access to hidden files.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by adding a .htaccess rule or configuring Apache to deny access to dotfiles.
