Overview

agno is an Agno: a lightweight library for building Multi-Agent Systems

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via CodingTools.run_shell in restricted mode, where an attacker can pass interpreter flags such as -c to allowlisted commands like python3 or pip to execute arbitrary code outside the command allowlist and metacharacter filter. Because the restriction validates only the first token of a command against an allowlist, any allowlisted interpreter can be invoked with inline code execution flags (e.g., -c, -m) that the filter never inspects, granting full read access to the process environment, arbitrary file reads, and remote code execution on the host. The enable_run_shell parameter defaulted to True, meaning this path was exposed in all default-configured toolkit instances.
