Overview

aider is a general utility functions

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection in the processing of .aider.conf.yml configuration files, specifically when handling the test-cmd or lint-cmd fields. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on a user's machine by enticing them to clone and run the application inside a maliciously crafted repository. This occurs because the commands are executed through a shell without user confirmation, LLM interaction, or API key.
