How to fix?

Upgrade apache-airflow-core to version 3.2.2rc1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the airflow.utils.email process. An attacker can intercept sensitive information, such as SMTP authentication credentials and email contents, by performing a man-in-the-middle attack during the STARTTLS handshake. This is only exploitable if the deployment is configured with smtp_starttls=True and smtp_ssl=False, and the SMTP relay is accessible over a less-trusted network segment than the worker.
