Overview
asteval is a Safe, minimalistic evaluator of python expression using ast module
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncaught Exception via the parse, run, eval, and import_module methods of the Interpreter class, which do not catch KeyboardInterrupt, SystemExit, or GeneratorExit exceptions. An attacker who can supply an expression to the interpreter can trigger one of these exiting exceptions, causing the process to terminate abruptly rather than having the exception handled and recorded as an interpreter error.
