Overview

bugsink is a Self-hosted Error Tracking

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the Brotli Decompression process. An attacker can cause the server to exhaust available memory by sending highly compressed Brotli streams, such as those containing many zeros, before resource limits are applied.

Note: This is only exploitable if the DSN is known to the attacker, which is common in many setups, including JavaScript and mobile applications.
