Overview

djangorestframework is a powerful and flexible toolkit for building Web APIs.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Session Expiration via TokenProxy.delete() and the proxy queryset's delete() method in rest_framework/authtoken/models.py. Because TokenProxy maps pk to the user ID for the Django admin, the inherited Model.delete() matches the key column against a user ID rather than the token key, deleting no row and raising no error. As a result, a token that an administrator intends to revoke remains valid and can continue to authenticate requests.
