Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

djangorestframework is a powerful and flexible toolkit for building Web APIs.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity via unbounded parsing of the Accept and Content-Type headers in content negotiation. An attacker can send a request with an extremely large or token-heavy Accept header, causing the server to spend excessive CPU time parsing and matching media types, which results in a crash or prolonged unresponsiveness. The fix introduces hard limits on header length (8192 bytes), the number of accepted tokens (64), and individual media-type token length (256 bytes) in DefaultContentNegotiation.
Note: This is only exploitable at full impact when no throttle classes are configured, which is the default DRF configuration.
