CWE-770  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade filelock to version 4.2.1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the SQLite-backed read-write lock implementation in src/filelock/_read_write.py, where an untrusted actor who controls the database file path can supply a malformed or adversarial SQLite database, causing the lock mechanism to crash and deny availability to processes depending on the lock.
