Overview

FlaskBB is an A classic Forum Software in Python using Flask.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via manipulation of the topic_id parameter in batch requests. An attacker can perform unauthorized actions such as locking, unlocking, deleting, or hiding topics in forums they do not moderate by submitting a crafted list of topic IDs, causing the permission check to be bypassed for topics outside their control. This is only exploitable if the attacker is an authenticated moderator and submits a batch request with at least one topic ID from a forum they are authorized to moderate.
