How to fix?

Upgrade GitPython to version 3.1.59 or higher.

Overview

GitPython is a python library used to interact with Git repositories

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to External Control of File Name or Path via the TagReference.create() function in git/refs/tag.py. An attacker can read local files by supplying a positional reference value such as --file=<path> when an application passes user-controlled input into TagReference.create(); git tag treats that value as a file-reading option and returns the file contents in the annotated tag message.
