Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the public_api configuration parameter of the IP plugin. An attacker can cause the application to send unauthorized HTTP requests to arbitrary internal or external endpoints and exfiltrate credentials by supplying a crafted configuration value. This can result in unauthorized access to internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and the leakage of credentials via the Authorization header in outbound requests.
