How to fix?

Upgrade jupyterhub-ltiauthenticator to version 1.6.3 or higher.

Overview

jupyterhub-ltiauthenticator is a JupyterHub authenticator implementing LTI v1.1 and LTI v1.3

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling due to the unbounded growth of a class-level dictionary used for storing OAuth nonces. An attacker can exhaust server memory by sending repeated requests with unique nonces and a valid consumer key.

Note: Successful exploitation requires the attacker to have prior knowledge of a valid consumer key.
