Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via HTTP redirect following and DNS rebinding in the _validate_revocation_url function. An authenticated attacker can supply a revocation URL (CRL or OCSP) that passes the initial private-IP check but then redirects to an internal address (redirect bypass), or that resolves to a public IP at validation time but is re-resolved to an internal IP at fetch time (DNS rebinding / TOCTOU). Both paths allow the attacker to cause the server to make HTTP requests to arbitrary internal network destinations.
