local-deep-research is an AI-powered research assistant with deep, iterative analysis using LLMs and web searches

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the download_service.py service. An attacker can access internal services and attempt to reach cloud provider metadata endpoints or perform internal network reconnaissance by submitting malicious URLs through the API.
