Overview

mercurial is a distributed SCM tool written in Python.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation. Mercurial was not sanitizing hostnames passed to ssh, allowing shell injection attacks on clients by specifying a hostname starting with -oProxyCommand.
