Overview

mercurial is a distributed SCM tool written in Python.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) due to failure in the Common Name field of SSL certificates verification. A remote attacker who acquire a certificate signed by a Certificate Authority can perform the attack.
