Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the html_to_markdown process. An attacker can access internal network resources by supplying an IPv4-mapped IPv6 address or a hostname resolving to such an address, which bypasses IP range restrictions and may expose internal web services, administrative interfaces, or cloud instance metadata.
