Overview
open-webui is an Open WebUI
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Restriction of Rendered UI Layers or Frames in the FilePreview process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to session tokens and potentially take over user accounts by serving a crafted HTML file through a terminal server, which is then automatically previewed in an iframe with insufficient sandboxing. This is only exploitable if at least one terminal server is configured and reachable by the victim, the attacker has a regular authenticated account with access to that terminal server, and the victim opens the chat where the file preview is triggered. Deployments without a configured terminal server or with a restrictive Content-Security-Policy set via TERMINAL_PROXY_HEADERS are not affected.
