Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization in the update_message_by_id and delete_message_by_id handlers when processing standard channels due to insufficient authorization checks. An attacker can modify or delete messages authored by other users by sending crafted requests to the relevant API endpoints while holding write access to the channel. This is only exploitable if channels are enabled by an administrator and the attacker has write access to a standard channel.
