Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the TLS connection establishment process due to missing hostname verification in the RabbitMQ driver. An attacker can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive RPC and notification data by intercepting control-plane network traffic and impersonating the message broker.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting network access to the RabbitMQ message broker and configuring firewall rules to permit inbound connections only from authorized hosts and services within the control plane.
