Overview

picklescan is a Security scanner detecting Python Pickle files performing suspicious actions

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incomplete List of Disallowed Inputs via the ctypes module. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by crafting malicious pickle files that invoke direct syscalls and access raw memory, such as using ctypes.WinDLL to load system libraries and execute commands, thereby bypassing sandbox protections and gadget chain detection.
