Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the TIFF image encoder in TiffImagePlugin.py and src/encode.c, where the ColorMap length is not validated against the BitsPerSample tag value. Prior to the fix, the encoder hardcoded a requirement of 768 entries (suitable only for 8-bit images) and did not enforce the correct length of (1 << BitsPerSample) * 3 entries for other bit depths. An attacker can supply a TIFF image with a mismatched ColorMap length relative to BitsPerSample, triggering a crash in the encoder and causing a denial of service. Additionally, the low-confidentiality impact reflects potential out-of-bounds read exposure from the incorrectly sized colormap buffer.
