Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the _decodeAsRGBA and _decodeTile functions in src/libImaging/TiffDecode.c when processing a TIFF image whose unpacker row size exceeds the libtiff-decoded row size. An attacker can supply a malformed TIFF file that triggers a read buffer overflow on the last row of a decoded block or tile, leading to out-of-bounds memory access and potential information disclosure or a crash.
