Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade Pillow to version 13.0.0 or higher.
Pillow is a PIL (Python Imaging Library) fork.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via linearize_page_tree in src/PIL/PdfParser.py when parsing a PDF file containing a cyclic or duplicate page tree reference. An attacker can supply a PDF with a looping page node structure, causing the parser to recurse or iterate indefinitely and crash the process.
