Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization in pipecat.runner.run, the development runner exposes unauthenticated HTTP endpoints that can be reached over the network. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send requests to these endpoints to create real resources, as the runner applies no authentication or authorization checks to any of its routes. The runner is intended solely for local development but provides no enforcement to prevent it from being exposed in production-like environments.
