Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization via the GitHub Actions workflow when an attacker-controlled pull request branch name is embedded into a Bash run block without proper quoting or validation. An attacker can execute arbitrary shell commands by submitting a pull request from a fork with a branch name containing shell metacharacters and commenting to trigger the workflow. This can lead to repository writes, pull request and issue manipulation, or OIDC-token abuse due to the elevated permissions of the workflow job.
