Overview

psd-tools is a Python package for working with Adobe Photoshop PSD files as described in specification.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) via the compression module. An attacker can cause application crashes by providing a PSD file with malformed RLE-compressed image data that triggers an unhandled exception during decompression.
