Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in the configuration for SSL certificate and key file paths due to incorrect option name checks. An attacker can gain unauthorized control over the SSL certificate, key, and certificate chain by submitting crafted configuration requests as a non-admin user with SETTINGS permission. This allows interception and decryption of HTTPS traffic, exposure of credentials, and potential escalation to full administrative access after a server restart.
Note: This is only exploitable if SSL is enabled by an admin, the attacker can place certificate/key files on the filesystem, and the server is restarted.
