Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Excessive Iteration in the parsing process of font width entries with unusually large values. An attacker can cause excessive resource consumption by crafting a PDF that triggers long runtimes and high memory usage during text extraction.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by applying the changes from PR #3946.
