Overview
pypdf is an A pure-python PDF library capable of splitting, merging, cropping, and transforming PDF files
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Infinite loop via TreeObject.remove_child and PdfWriter.find_outline_item when processing a PDF containing a cyclic outline (bookmark) hierarchy. An attacker can supply a malformed PDF whose outline tree contains a cycle, causing either method to loop indefinitely and crash the process.
