The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

pypdf is an A pure-python PDF library capable of splitting, merging, cropping, and transforming PDF files
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Permissive List of Allowed Inputs via _xobj_to_image in pypdf/generic/_image_xobject.py, which passes /DCTDecode stream data to Image.open() without restricting the Pillow plugin format. Pillow sniffs the stream bytes to select a plugin, allowing non-JPEG data embedded in a DCT stream to be processed by arbitrary plugins, including EpsImagePlugin, which executes Ghostscript on embedded PostScript content. An attacker who can supply a malicious PDF causes arbitrary command execution on the host when the PDF's image objects are processed.
Note: This is only exploitable when Ghostscript (gs) is installed on the host system.
