Overview

ray is an A system for parallel and distributed Python that unifies the ML ecosystem.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function through unauthenticated access to the DELETE endpoints on the Dashboard HTTP server. An attacker can shut down services or delete jobs by sending DELETE requests from a browser context (e.g., via DNS rebinding or CSRF) when the dashboard is reachable (e.g., ray start --head --dashboard-host=0.0.0.0), and token auth is disabled.

Note: Dashboard token auth is optional and off by default, and binding to 0.0.0.0 is common for remote access.
