Overview

sigstore is an A tool for signing Python package distributions

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Request Forgery (CSRF) via the OIDC authentication process, which fails to check the state parameter. An attacker in a MitM position can cause a user to sign data with an identity controlled by the attacker by intercepting and manipulating the authentication response.
