Overview

snowflake-connector-python is a Snowflake Connector for Python

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch in the TLS certificate verification process. An attacker can intercept sensitive data, tamper with queries, or execute arbitrary SQL commands by performing on-path network attacks such as ARP/DNS poisoning, rogue access point setup, BGP hijacking, or deploying a malicious proxy. This is only exploitable if the attacker has the capability to intercept or redirect network traffic between the client and the server.
