CWE-476  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade tensorflow to version 2.2.1, 2.3.1 or higher.

Overview

tensorflow is a machine learning framework.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference. If a user passes an invalid argument to dlpack.to_dlpack the expected validations will cause variables to bind to nullptr while setting a status variable to the error condition. However, this status argument is not properly checked which can lead to null pointers. This is undefined behaviour and reported as an error if compiling with -fsanitize=null.
