The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade thrift to version 0.25.0 or higher.
thrift is a Python bindings package for Apache Thrift.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the readJSONString and readJSONNumericChars methods of TJSONProtocol, which accumulate a value byte by byte without counting it against the configured string size limit, a limit the protocol does not implement at all and reports as unset. An attacker can exhaust memory on the peer with a single JSON string or number, because these values are delimited rather than length prefixed, so there is no declared size to reject before the bytes are consumed and nothing bounds the accumulation while they are. This requires an endpoint that uses TJSONProtocol, and the defect is present in the C++, Java, Go, netstd, Python, and Delphi bindings, while the container read path is separately unbounded and is not addressed as part of this issue.
