Overview
uproot is a ROOT I/O in pure Python and NumPy.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the TStreamerInfo metadata processing. An attacker can execute arbitrary Python code by supplying a crafted ROOT file containing malicious streamer metadata fields, which are interpolated into dynamically generated Python source code without proper sanitization.
